The Woodlands · Montgomery County

Drywall installation, repair, and finishing in The Woodlands.

The Woodlands has a heavy mix of custom and semi-custom homes built between 1995 and 2015 on shifting Montgomery County soils. The building stock favors 9- to 12-foot ceilings, tall pillared entryways with abundant raking light, and well-maintained interiors that respond to a tighter finish level. Stone Creek Drywall has served The Woodlands neighborhoods through Carlton Woods, Sterling Ridge, Indian Springs, and Creekside Park for new construction and remodel-cut-in work.

Local building stock

Two-story foyers with raking light from clerestory windows are common throughout The Woodlands, which means Level 5 finishing pays back more reliably here than in flat-paint subdivisions to the south. The Montgomery County soil also moves with the wet-dry cycle more than Harris County clay does, so settlement cracks at door and window corners are a regular call — typically remediated with patches rather than full panel replacement when caught early.

How we work here

For new construction in The Woodlands we coordinate with general contractors familiar with The Woodlands Development Company spec — Level 4 finishing is the residential default with Level 5 in dramatic-light areas. For remodel work we are familiar with the typical permitting requirements through Montgomery County and the HOA architectural-review timelines across the major villages. Walk-throughs are typically Tuesday–Thursday morning.
